Sick Policy

 At our practice, the health and safety of our clients and therapists are always our top priority. We understand that when your child is sick, it can be a difficult and stressful time for both you and your child. That's why we want to make things as easy as possible for you by having a clear sick policy. If your child has any of the following signs or symptoms within 24 hours of your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule.

• Fever of 100 degrees or higher
• Vomiting: One or more times in a 24-hour period
• Any unexplained rash
• A persistent deep, hacking cough 
• Any signs of a communicable disease
• Excessive drainage or discharge (clear or discolored) from the nose, eyes, or ears.
• Red discoloration to the whites of the eye(s)
• Diarrhea: runny, watery, bloody stools
• Difficulty breathing or untreated wheezing
• Unusual yellow coloring of the skin or eyes
• Cuts, blisters, or openings on the skin that are pus-filled or oozing

We ask that you please do not reschedule your appointment until your child has been symptom-free for at least 24 hours. Thank you for helping us keep our clients and therapists safe and healthy!
