Late Talkers

A child is considered a "late talker" if they are between 18 and 20 months and have a vocabulary of less than 10 words or are between 21 and 30 months and have a vocabulary of less than 50 words.  Early language intervention for these children is critically important in order for them to develop the communication skills necessary for future academic and personal success.
